Thomas Y. Crowell and Co.,1897. Hard Cover. No dust jacket. Cover has moderate shelfwear with substantially chipped/rubbed corners and edges, some light soiling and foxing. Back hinge has small tear. Mild foxing inside cover..Binding is cracked at title page. Title page is completely loose from binding. Colored frontispiece with tissue guard. Six black and white full page illustrations. Pages are clean and unmarked. Very nice copy. Pp. 301. Very early edition, illustrator and translator are not identified. Scarce.
